	The Shin-etsu Trail The Shin-etsu Trail extends to the ridge of Sekita Mountains attending the prefectural border of Nagano and Niigata and is a real long shot trail of 50 miles in total length around the village mountain.

	Iiyama Lantern Festival Handmade garden lanterns using the Uchiyama paper of the traditional industrial art object form lines of more than 20,000 lanterns in the beginning of August, and the downtown is wrapped in the fantastic world.
	Chikuma River Fireworks Festival The Fireworks Festival held on August 14 near the Chikuma River Center Bridge displays approximately 3,000 fireworks.On the same river, the Memorial Service is performed with hundreds of lanterns floating and carrying the Buddhist alters of the families.
